Fish health Checked and ready for stocking

October 2014

Most fish have now been Health checked and we are starting to get them ready for orders.  Temperatures still too high for moving the silver fish but carp, F1’s  are proving popular  and are being stocked in fisheries now.

January 2014

The New Year has started well despite the weather conditions.  Although very wet and stormy we have been able to carry on with fish movements and stockings. Delivering some cracking 8-10″ crucians to the Wirral this week  along with tench.  Restocked specimen carp lake with some lovely common and mirror carp from 10lbs to 18lbs.  Silver fish also available, bream, rudd & roach.

November 2013

All species have caught up in growth despite the cold temperatures in the spring and early summer. The better weather in July and August and the extended autumn have seen fish feeding late on and this has led to increased growth late in the season. Particularly encouraging has been the production of F1’s which have grown from 2-3” in May to some individuals measuring 12” with many 8-10”
